So what does a Professional Organiser (PO) actually do?

AAPO MEMBER Logo GIFThe Australasian Association of Professional Organisers (AAPO) defines a Professional Organiser as someone who creates customised solutions to help others get organised. They help their clients find balance, restore order and maximise their resources. They provide ideas, information, structure, solutions, tools and systems which increase productivity, reduce stress and lead to more control over individual resources.

The Filing Fairies are bound by the AAPO code of ethics, you can read them at this link http://www.aapo.org.au/codeofethics.php

Are you surprised that there is a Professional Organisation representing Professional Organisers?  and do you see the irony (if that is the right word) in that?
